Response to Social Web class

I really enjoyed this class becuase I actually was familiar with majority of the things that we discussed in class. I did, however, have my first experience with LinkedIn and can see the potential for this page in my future when I am trying to get my name out there! I currently use tons of different fors of social media sites such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Diigo, Pinterest, and a few others. I really enjoyed having time to explore all of the groups on Twitter. I had no idea that there were so many people using Twitter that related to the field of work that we're in! It is so cool to explore and in a sense collaborate with others when we all post things that are interesting to us! One thing that we didn't talk about in class was Pinterest. Like other sites we have explored, Pinterest is also a collaborative site where people share different ideas, images, videos, and even recipes! I have done a lot of pinning from different sources including teachers. Just for fun, I am going to add the link to my Teaching board on Pinterest- a new site we haven't talked about! https://www.pinterest.com/mwilson09/teaching-ideas/ I really liked learning more about Twitter and LinkedIn, and thought it was cool that we all followe each other; now we can collaborate there too! I have also found the things our classates are tweeting are really interesting to read! #didyougetericstweet :)
